In our lessons of Arts & Crafts as a bilingual section, we are developing a project around the seasons, the perfect excuse to observe the changes in nature from an emotional and artistic perspective. Under the title "4 in a year" we are approaching to different artistic languages, styles, techniques, formats and artists.
During the first term of this school year 2025-2026, we worked around the autumn or fall, and learned about the Pointillism with Georges Seurat. Taking advantage of the school project for this year, we also met David Pintor and his book "A Coruña", published by Kalandraka in 2011. Finally, we counted on the presence of Xulio Gallego, a teacher and local artist who taught us how to use the techniques pof Pointilllism and helped us create a collaborative mural based on the illustration "The square of Santa Barbara", by David Pintor, as a way of recreating the autumn in our loving town.. Thank you, Xulio, for all your knowledge, patience and commitment.
