THEATRE DAY: "The time machine"


Yes! Today is the day! We are going to the theatre in our school!!! 

Are you ready for a play full of fun? Well, let´s enjoy  THE TIME MACHINE! How much do you know about life in the stone age? What would a cave woman think of our lifestyle if she could travel in time? Couod she manage in a restaurant? What about wearing clothes?

Pay close attention because some of the actors can be familiar...

Face2Face is the theatre company which will perform this funny play. They have been coming to our school for more than 10 years and they always surprise us! You have more information about them HERE.

Very many thanks to our school for giving us the chance to learn English in such a funny way. 

Welcome to the greatest show on earth!

The verb TO HAVE GOT is the last topic we are going to revise in this unit 0. 

Do you remember how to use it? 

It´s used to indicate possession and, as this English expressions says:

"No other word possesses as many "Ss" 
as possesses "possesses".

Try to learn it by heart. It´s a kind of tongue twister...

Children make a guy with old clothes and stuffed with newspapers, they put it on the top of a bonfire and burn it. There also are firework displays in all villages and cities. It´s great fun! It´s typical to eat roasted potatoes, chestnuts and toffee apples. Yummy! Take a look:
