And that´s all for this term... After all your hard work, you deserve a rest, but remember to do your homework. On the left you can read all the tasks to do. I´ll try to do them all!!!
And to make your holidays funnier and, besides, go over the British Xmas traditions, take a look at how Mr. Bean celebrates his Christmas. And after that, try to complete the activities of this Christmas book and see your final score.
Merry Christmas to you all!!!! See you next year....
"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" is a Christmas song released in 1971 by John Lennon and Yoko Onowith the Harlem Community Choir. The lyrics are set to the traditional English ballad "Skewball".
It was the culmination of more than two years of peace activism undertaken by John Lennon and Yoko Ono that began with the bed-ins they convened in March and May 1969, the first of which took place during their honeymoon. Also a protest song against the Vietnam War, "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" has since become a Xmas standard, frequently covered by other artists, appearing on compilation albums of seasonal music, and named in polls as a holiday favourite.
Ad now it will be our performance in the next school Xmas concert to be held in our school concert hall next Friday.

Today we have been at the school concert hall watching a play in English by Face2Face theatre company. It was a classic, "Robinson Crusoe", revisited in a funnier and more modern version. Hence, we met a champion surfer called Robinson Crusoe, a famous girl who was swept away by a tsunami to a desert island. There she has to manage to survive with the only company of her friend Friday. Does it ring a bell?
Thank you so much to our Parents´Assotiation for giving us the opportunity to improve our English in this amazing way. It was great fun!!! We danced, sang, laughed, jumped and had a fantastic time.
Now take a look at this pictures. Maybe you can see some familiar faces, who knows...
Christmas Jumper Day is an annual fundraising campaign in the UK organised by charity Save the Children. On Friday 14th December this year, people are encouraged to "make the world better with a sweater" and raise funds for the poor by wearing a Xmas jumper and making a minimum donation of £1.
Those taking part can wear a Christmas jumper they already own, decorate an existing jumper with festive decorations, or even knit their own. Christmas Jumper Day is popular with schools and workplaces.
Save the Children launched their Christmas Jumper Day in 2012 on Friday, 14 December and it has become extremely popular all over the world.
So... prepare your jumper for this Friday. Don´t forget it!!!
It´s that time of the year again... Christmas!!! You can feel it in the air: the lights in the streets, the Xmas trees at home, the candy canes in the shops, ... A good way to count how many days there are left for Xmas is using an advent calendar. There are many types: with chocolates, with small gifts, with drawings... Try this one, it´s full of games.
