LET´S COOK

Following the recipe of the TRIFLE, today we have prepared this typical British dessert in the English classroom. To do it, we counted with the help of a native speaker: Susana Barros, English teacher in a famous English school in Coruña. She explained some basic rules to cook: food hygiene, safety in the kitchen, ... In groups of 4, we became real chefs for a while. We had to arrange layers of different foods: sponge cakes, jam, chopped peaches, jelly fruit, berries, custard, cream, hundreds and thousands, ... And the result was very colourful and delicious... Yummy!!! Take a look...
Thank you so much to Susana for her inestimable help!!!

Today we received the visit of Susana, an English woman who helped us to make a delicious English desert: a trifle. It was easy-peasy! We listened to her very carefully and followed her explanations while we prepared the cake. In the end, we ate it up. Yummy!!!
Thank you Susan for your help!!!

LET´S COOK!

Do you fancy a trifle? As you know, a trifle is a typical English dessert made of sponge cake, jam, bananas, peaches, custard and cream in different layers. Today is a good day to cook, so... READY, STEADY, COOK!
We all had a fantastic time in our Cookery Club. We all looked as authentic cooks with our aprons and hats. And the trifle was delicious! Besides, we counted with the help of Susana, a girl from London, mother of two children in our school, who taught us how to make a real trifle. Thank you so much for coming!!!
