FESTIVALS: Thanksgiving Day

Today we will pay close attention to Eva Cotelo, a former student of this school and a teacher student at the moment. She has lived in the USA for an entire school year and she will explain about how life is in the USA. Besides, she will talk about a popular celebration: Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Day is on the fourth Thursday in November. Families gather together for a big meal, which usually consists of roast turkey with potatoes, corn, carrots and other vegetables. Pumpkin pie is essential for dessert. It is also a time to be thankful for the good things we have, so people usually say: I´M THANKFUL FOR... What are you thankful for?
