Summer is here at last!!! Well, tomorrow will be the first day of this bright season. So tell me: what is summer for you? Summer is beach, sandals, ice-creams, flip-flops, swimsuits, caps, sunglasses and, most of all, HOLIDAYS!!! What are you going to do this summer?

1.- First, please read the photocopies about the summer: composition and 4th of July.

2.- Now please select 3 activities you can do in summer (from the list) and underline them.

PLATINUM JUBILEE

Some news now: 

The UK is conmemorating the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II these days, celebrating her 70 years on the throne. In fact, yesterday took place one of the most expected moments: a massive open-air concert in front of Buckingham Palace, attended by thousands of people. It was a memorable night, full of rock stars, celebrities, speeches, songs, music, lights and humour. The event started with a tender and funny video: her Majesty having tea with Paddington Bear. You cannot miss it!!!

UNIT 3 - AT THE SCHOOL CANTEEN: Speaking test

1.- Today we have the SPEAKING TEST of unit 3. You have to talk about "My eating routines". Remember to keep calm and speak clearly, there is no hurry. Try to sound like a native speaker and talk about 5 things:

     1.- Breakfast

     2.- Morning snack

     3.- Lunch

     4.- Afternoon snack

     5.- Dinner

2.- Meanwhile it is not your turn, you have to do the WRITING TEST about the same topic. Write a description of your daily meals divided in 5 paragraphs, following the previous indications. It´s easy-peasy!!!

3.- Now, please complete the Liveworksheets 44 and 45. They are a Listening and a Reading Comprehension. Easy-peasy!

4.- When you finish, please read "THE LIGHTHOUSE GHOST": chapters 1-2-3. You can read it and listen to it in EDIXGAL.
