Last Thursday, 28th of November, Thanksgiving Day, we had a great surprise: the visit of a "pilgrim" from the USA. Loraine is the teaching assistant in Salvador de Madariaga Secondary School and she kindly came to talk about a typical Northamerican celebration: Thanksgiving Day. We learned many things about it and about where it comes from. We learned about the pilgrims and the native Americans who helped them.
She taught us to be thankful for all the good things from the year. We said "I´m thankful for..."
