BORN IN THE USA

Continuing with our talks with native speakers, last Thursday the 26th, we received the visit of an American boy: Bryon Boyce. He is from California but he works in Salvador de Madariaga Secondary School as a teaching assitant. He explained many things about his country: a bit of geography, some customs and one important tradition, Thanksgiving Day. As that day was Thanksgiving Day, the spirit of this celebration was in the air all the time, moving us.
We all are really really thankful for his kind visit.
Besides, he brought us a present: some pumpkin seeds to eat. They were delicious!!! And we all finished singing a fantastic song by the Boss, Bruse Sprinsteen: "Born in the USA". Definitely, a memorable day that we will never forget.
Thank you so much, Bryon!
