WORLD BOOK DAY

Today, April the 23rd, is World Book Day. It´s a fantastic day to go to a bookshop and buy a good book (today they´re a 10% cheaper). Then, at home, in the park or even in a library, you can open it and start living the most exciting adventure ever happened. Because when you open a book you never know what is going on. The magic is about to begin... Happy Book Day!

EARTH DAY

Today, April the 22nd, is the Earth Day. The latest years have marked the beginning of the Green Generation, a generation more worried about the environment and about how to avoid the pollution. Are you green? Stop and think about it for a minute. What do you want? Do you want a car, a big house, a Wii, a great mobile phone...? Or maybe do you prefer clean air, food and water without pollution? So today why don´t we think about how we can help our planet? You know: "Give Earth a hand".

EASTER FUN!

Easter is already coming and we have to get ready for all the funny activities we are going to organise in our school:

- Do you fancy an Easter egg hunt? Then look for the Easter egg of your class on Friday during the break and get a delicious chocolate egg. Yummy!

- Do you want to take part in the Easter bonnet parade? Use your imagination and design an original Easter hat. That´s all! Have a look at this video and get some ideas...

A FANTASTIC PLAY!

Yes! The play we went to see yesterday was really fantastic. It was titled "Treasure Island". At the begining just two actors were on the stage but, after a while, some of us went up there and played a role. It was so funny! Pepe was a cook, Iago was a pirate with just one leg, Ana was a scary shark, ... Have a look at this pics! They are a good memory of that day...

INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN´S BOOK DAY

Today is the International Children´s Book Day. It´s celebrated on the 2nd of April every year to conmemorate the birth of a famous writer for kids: Hans Christian Andersen. He wrote hundreds of marvellous stories. I´m sure you know many of them: "The little mermaid", "Thumbeline", "The Snow Queen", "The emperor´s new clothes", "The ugly duckling", ... All of us have grown listening to one of these tales. And now that we are old, we can re-read them by our own. Now enjoy watching this tribute to him made by Disney.

HAPPY APRIL FOOL´S DAY!

Today, April the 1st, is April Fool´s Day in lots of countries. That means that many people play all kind of jokes, hoaxes or pranks on their friends or relatives. So... be careful and don´t believe everything you read, watch or hear!

By the way, have I mentioned that the play has been cancelled? So I´m sorry but we are not going to the theatre on Monday...
